Lenox Ceramic Art Co (USA)

This is my last piece of Lenox which is very much based on Leedsware. Consequently in this case very cream.
Not all Lenox is creamware and there are quite a lot of pictures on the web of Lenox. Highly prized by many American collectors. Very fine acanthus mollis design. Extremely well executed porcelain.

This factory came in to business in 1889 in New Jersey.

This is the backstamp on my piece.

The National Museum of Ceramics in Sevres France accepted a substantial amount of Lenox for their museum in 1928. A high honour.
