I haven't been able to find out the range that this Hornsea vase came from but looking at the style and colour of the infilled glazed decoration it dates from the early to mid 1960s. Pattern number is 422. If anyone knows for sure the range name please let me know.

One of the earliest Hornsea canister designs - in production from 1965 to 1972 - the shapes were designed by John Clappison and the 'Scroll' pattern designed by a Hallewell chap (sorry can't remember his first name off-hand - will look it up and amend this post later).

I have several of these jars too Sue - they came in various colours including the orangey amber colour you show, a nice cobalt blue and a sagey green.
