Pip- let me know if I've done this right! ;)
Hay that is a very good piece of Aegean, collectors would be drooling over it, I certainly am.
(If you can't see the link click on the word "Aegean")

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980
I think this is a 1950s/60s piece - perhaps a Robert Jefferson design (?) - Dan, can you confirm anything at all about this?

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980
Spot on Pip.
It was designed by Robert Jefferson in 1964 and is part of the hand-thrown Bokhara range.
Yours is a 675 vase that was made in 2 sizes, 6 inch and 8 inch decorated in Sapphire blue and black.

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980
What's the whole piece look like please? I would never have thought of that as Aegean (I assume it is marked to the back, or do you just know? )
Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980
a very rare Aegean "onion vase" shape 32 with saltglazed upper half.
