I was at the pottery last month and didn't see any,I don't think it is produced any more.

Yes, that was Vallauris, Tony Morris visited Vallauris shortly before making his iconic sunface design that appears on the Poole pottery book

they were part of the 1996 studio collection,Poole pottery re-established the studio section in 1995 enlisting the talents of outstanding designers such as Sally Tuffin and Janice Tchalenko,these designs are very collectable now but the Sally Tuffin designs bring top dollar.

yes I bought a Millenium dish a few months ago,I understand the design represents the resilience of life on earth & the hope which the new the Millenium brings.
Ironically it was broken in the post when it was sent to me
though given the present economic situation it was quite apt

Soo sorry - you will understand how it felt to drop all my Poppies. Yes the symbolism is strong, earth sea fire - I liked the matt edge too sort of nothingness outside of time.
