I think its a fantastic design and will be considered quite iconic with it also being used on the British Airways Tails in the 90's

This was bought fom Libertys London in April 2000 (my 30th birthday) I
understand it to be an exclusive colourway for Liberty. Does anybody
know any more?

this design is called Viking,designed in 1988 by Karen Brown for the Purbeck series
painted on white earthenware.

I love that design,it reminds me of the pollarded tree design of Tony Morris.
Mark at Tradpots has a similar design

Yes, Eye of The Storm pattern.

That reminded me I was going to post a couple of pictures of Mark's pieces, see the Studio Pottery section.

Numbered limited edition 10.5" 'Spider Orchid' mid to late 90's, painters mark? I bought my Poole book in 1995 when it came out so I have non of the later signatures.
