I think some of the Portuguese and Spanish pottery is underrated , they can produce works as good as anyone , I think it is just fashionable to collect Scandanavian ,etc, at the moment , the glass produced is terrific also ,but a tad expensive sometimes .

Only the portuguese one I posted dan, Kath always fancies spanish glassware but it is very very pricey ,

I absolutely agree about the lack of appreciation of Portuguese pottery. Much is stunning and there are wise birds I know who would take a piece back to UK every visit. I have several pieces. One piece in particular I found in Winchester City recycling skip - it had been thrown in one of those vast bins. I asked one of the blokes to fish it out. Perfect! paid him a quid of course.....

I like some Sargadellos pieces but I haven't seen much Iberian pottery that I would buy
