Wall plate - help with ID please

I bought this wall plate because it intrigued me. It looks kind of German but stylistically it could be from a number of places. It has a gold foil label on the back which reads 'Manuel Feulloch' - I suspect this may be the retailer's sticker rather than the manufacturer (obviously it's a Spanish name).

Any ideas?

Having purchased this "CELTIC" incised coffee pot and 2 smaller pots, wondered whether they are "CELTIC Pottery", Newlyn Cornwall? Having checked out their gallery & history think I am barking up the wrong tree. Any info or point of reference would be appreciated. Would anyone also know why there are holes running around the rim of the larger of the two pots, what would this one be used for?

I have attached a thumbnail photo of opur Newlyn pot, which retains ...

it's a bit hard to tell from these photos, but the top straight edges are actually gilded (or at least, lustred with a glaze). Underneath, it is marked with what looks like a stylised EC and 4/99 which i took to mean as April 1999 - it looks like the mark was done with a black marker pen and not painted. Any ideas?

20th Century Asian or Italian Green Glaze Jug Redware?

A small jug (coffee cup size), acquired from a shop in Buck's county, PA. The shopkeeper does not know where it was from. His guess is something from Italy. Do you think this is 20th century Italian piece? Green glaze, with areas of tiny pores. Creamy white body (mostly worn). The unusual aspect of this piece is the gold dusts or specks embedded throughout the red clay.

Again, thanks in advance for your help. - James

Note: Sometimes the artist will neglect the "i" in the name, in this case, just "VSSER." A two-digit production date e.g. "82" usually accompanies the name. Approx 7" inches diameter.

can't shed any light on the Mr Shabner, but thought i'd just share with you all a painting that my husband bought as a local auction, from the 1960s. It's by the artist Leighton-Jones and is from his series of Urchin pictures. This gives me the creeps because of those Crying Boy urban myths of the 1980s so i've made him put it facing the wall until we can sell it on.

Hi, in order to get used to some of you ASAP I thought it best to open another ID topic.

This is one of my favorites, a vase with penguins, on the picture two show but they are all around, 6 of them.

At the bottom only a number. It's 24 centimeters.

I have bought a bigger home to accomodate mine and have bought several display cabinets but still the cupboards are full of wonderful treasures that rarely see the light of day.

Have you found good ways to show off your collection? I know Ed has some lovely cabinets I look forward to seeing lots more pics soon.

Please post your pics ...

'Oliv' series centrepiece bowl with moulded foot. Quite impressive that they spent time decorating it to the underside, even though no one would ever see if whilst in use.

No designer marks, and Googling yields nothing useful. Anyone know the designer and/or age? I'm always out of my comfort zone when it comes to pottery and the like.

Hi, I've just acquired three Carnaby vases. Two Christer Holmgren style(one with an old sticker) and one small bulge vase by Per Lutken. I have a small amount of doubt about the bulge vase because in other pictures of these that I've seen the first indentation from the bottom looks more exaggerated than mine. All three match perfectly in terms of color(an orangey-red that's slightly lighter on the bulges) and quality. I'm wondering if there were imitations that very closely resembled the ...

I'm a big fan of Old Hall stainless steel production and have quite a few pieces to show - we'll start with these tealight holders from their 'Lifespan' range topped off with coloured glass shades. It is often stated that the shades are Whitefriars glass production but this hasn't been confirmed and is doubted by some.

The pottery started in principle when Susan Williams-Ellis, daughter of Sir Clough Williams-Ellis (creator of the Portmeirion Village of 'The Prisoner' fame) and her husband Euan Cooper-Willis took over Gray's Pottery in 1960 and Kirkham's Pottery a year later – renamed and marketed as The Portmeirion Potteries Ltd in 1962. It was during this period of the 1960s that some of Susan Williams-Ellis’ most famous shapes and designs were created. Portmeirion are still in production today.

Hi there,

It seems I am collecting pottery all of a sudden^^

Somehow the most hideous items find there way to my house and I am actually glad if I purchased one.

I am willing and able to tell if a vase is Scheurich if it says so at the bottom preferably confirmed by an undamaged Scheurich label. So far my knowledge.

Some items I own are mysterious to me, maybe here are some people around who can tell me where it comes from, who made it and why.

This is one of them:

I live in Sweden and I have, without knowing it, owned two

portmeirion tea cups with saucers for a few years and they have always been my

favourites! I bought them for on a flea market in Sweden.

Recently,

I dropped one of the cups on the floor and only after that did I look

for the brand and tried to learn more about the cups to find a new one.

I have been looking on Ebay.co.uk and on the official Portmeirion

homepage, but I haven't been able to find any information ...

bought these delightful wooden toys today and wondered if anyone knew anything about the makers?

The caveman and cavewoman are marked Chris-Vejle Denmark and the monkey is marked Christensen Demark. They very well crafted out of a wood i think is teak or rosewood. The hair is made of animal fur (probably Rabbit).

I can't find anything out about them - but i'm probably searching for the wrong thing. I don't even know their date? so any ideas or info would be welcome.

It is in a royal/cobalt blue which I have seen her use in other pieces. Lastly, is her work highly collectible and/or rare? There is some here in the US, and some collectors view her work as so so but there are also few who know much about her.
