the only thing i could find out about this little carved stone cat is that a few have sold at various auctions and orginally there would've been a label stating that it's by Capella of Dartington, and signed by S Marsh as the carver. Has anyone got any more info about the company?

Had this one a while, bought in Germany, and have never been able to decipher the signature. It came with a few other prints from listed artists, dated from the early 1960s through to the very early 1970s.

Originally I thought it was a warty-looking prostitute hanging about under a streetlamp, but it was later suggested that it might be a representation of the eponymous main character of the German song, Lili Marleen / Marlène - although the figure looks quite run-down to be the subject of ...

1960s oil painting

Originally bought, apparently, from one of the artists that sell their work on a Sunday along the Hyde Park railings in London. I just liked the colours and the sheer 60'sness of it - I bought it from the Bay of Fleas. It's an oil on board, signed with what looks like 'SEE' and in it's original frame. Any ideas anyone?

Hi all
Im after info on an artist by the name of Ken Law. I think, he painted during the 60s and 70s and his prints were available through boots and other department stores, similarly framed and marketed to Lynch prints. I have 2 of his paintings, one framed, one on block board, he is a sort of 'loose cubist' with good flat colour . One of his more famous, well ive seen it twice, is a pic of a high street in London another is called 'winter sun'
Anyone heard of him
