I have a couple of nice Uta Feyl designed vases for Rosenthal Studio-Linie that I'll post up here, Uta also designed for KPM. She's a fascinating (and obviously extremely talented) person with feet in many camps - including photography, sculpture, ceramics, porcelain, glass....

As we have lots of Wiinblad designs scattered around I thought it was time to start a thread dedicated to all things Wiinblad.

This piece is from the Rosenthal studio-linie,a wonderful shape with fantastic moulded details and tansfer decoration that I guess reflects the time and country in which it was made.

Hello all,

We are new to this board and new to collecting W. German pots, having acquired our 9th this weeked.

Would anyone be able to confirm if this one number 1507-27 is from the ATELIER range, what is the approx date, and when they stopped being "Austria" and stamped W Germany please.

Looking forward to learning much, much more,

TIA- Sharron & Mike

(P.S Should I have started a new topic, or added to the existing "Carstens Tonnieshof" thread)

This is a charming little jug, marked Luzern handarbeit with a form number 421. I can't seem to find anything about Luzern as a pottery, I am wondering if this is a pattern name rather than a studio? Link is a gallery with more pics.

Can anyone throw any light?

thanks,

I I wish to add this piece as a German piece of pottery as it was made in the 30s before Germay was divided. I have quite a bit of research on this short lived experiment of WMF to enter the studio pottery genre. I was very fortunate to find this example in a charity shop many years ago. Colour texture etc most interesting.Susie.

Saturn, certainly a space age pocelain piece! 60s? 70s? Wonderful matt decoration with very glossy glaze on the sides and the inner. Glossy base has Krautheim Selb Bavaria Germany Saturn (and I think a very small K&A at the very top) stamp in green. There are no impressed or raised marks or form numbers but this is probably due to the form name being there. No designer signature. A tad under 25cms tall.
