wooden toys made in Denmark

bought these delightful wooden toys today and wondered if anyone knew anything about the makers?
The caveman and cavewoman are marked Chris-Vejle Denmark and the monkey is marked Christensen Demark. They very well crafted out of a wood i think is teak or rosewood. The hair is made of animal fur (probably Rabbit).
I can't find anything out about them - but i'm probably searching for the wrong thing. I don't even know their date? so any ideas or info would be welcome.

i've been doing a bit of digging around the internet and not come up with very much. However, found one site selling a figure by Chris-Vejle Denmark for over 200 euros and was slightly excited by the prospect that my monkey, marked Christensen, maybe an early piece of LEGO, made by Ole Kirk Christensen (alternative spelling of Christiansen often found). Does anyone know anything about LEGO and if this is a possibility!

The monkey looks to be a poor-quality copy of the famous Kaj Bojesen toy:

Denmark had quite a lot of home-based craft companies in the 1950s/60s, so there's every possibility that these are by two of those smaller outfits (hence the lack of information). Neither appear to have joined the Danish Handcraft Guild, which covers some of these types of businesses, as well as some of the larger ones.

i'm suprised you thought the monkey was poor quality - i actually marvelled at how nice it was - especially the set-in eyes. I think the photo probably doesn't do it justice.

Bought another toy today, this time by Hans Bolling , of another little man figure. very charming.

Love the cave people! The woman has boobies and a small mouth lol!

As a stand-alone pieces, especially compared to modern toy production, it probably is very nicely made. But when compared to the Kaj Bojesen original, though, I think the differences in quality of finish and design are apparent. For example, the Bojesen monkey's body is naturalistic and contoured, and the stylised robust head gives the impression of being 'designed' rather than just 'produced'.
