Plate 1004 , which if my memory serves me well is from the 1980s duh mistake -thanks K its from the 50s.

I have two Carstens Austria vases no. 579-50 and no. 1233-34 both of red clay. What year did Carstens stop making them with Austria to base? both no. are early 60s according to Horst Marcus book. No. 1233-34 has same geometric glaze same as your 2 blue ones above, mine is black and white can I call mine Ankara, might have spelt it wrong?

This my Austria vase no.1233/34 red clay it looks like an Ankara like your blue one above. I have several Braemore Carstens similar wax reduction method. Yes our son is helping us at the moment :ch8:
