Hi Pip
Any idea when these rectangular vases were made? my guess is late 60s early 70s.

Fat Lava floor vase

Post by momma on Sun May 18, 2008 3:43 am

Hi, I am new to this forum and I'm hoping for some help with this West German Fat Lava floor lamp.
The vase is 45cm tall and has 517 45 W.GERMANY on the base. The 7 is crossed continental fashion.
I have searched many sites and have found the shape number 517 on a few examples ~ they were all Scheurich. Would other manufacturers have used 517 for the same shape as this?
Any help with maker & era would be wonderful........momma
PS There is an area on the top that I thought was sticker residue but on closer inspection I feel it may be a white section that has peeled ~ is that possible?
