Re: Scheurich Keramik
Est. 1954, after the partnership of Scheurich & Greulich (Alois Scheurich/Georg Greulich) ended.
Although Scheurich changed shapes they continued to use the same form numbers repeatedly with each piece having potentially 50 different types of glaze finish.

Scheurich
Here is a strange one. It is a floor vase signed with the W German mark on the bottom in a common floor vase shape. It is hand painted in a Trypillian design ( an archeological name for the Neolithic culture that existed on the territory of present-day Ukraine) and signed by the artist. I have seen a few of these in Canada. DId Scheurich send out blanks to other countries to then be painted by other people, any thoughts?

Re: Scheurich Keramik
I have not seen this design before, But I don't see any reason for the likes of Scheurich , who still operate today, to send blanks abroad , it wouldn't make economical sense , just a thought .ED
