Help ID - "VISSER" Plate Pottery

Hi. I recently acquired several pottery pieces from NJ, USA, which has "VISSER" markings. I was wondering if anyone can help identify the maker. Note: Sometimes the artist will neglect the "i" in the name, in this case, just "VSSER." A two-digit production date e.g. "82" usually accompanies the name. Approx 7" inches diameter.
