very few , probably about three in total when I was a toddler ,god knows where they are , somewhere in scotland stuffed away in a case full of old piccys.

No , I have never owned or worn one , why would you assume that scottish people wear kilts anymore than english people walk about with bowler hats and brollys and silly jumpers ?
