Makers Mark ******* JG Pottery- ideas pls

Hi any ideas as to who these were made by please, look quite new.

What do the other two words say around the JG?

Pip: We can see the that the word underneath the JG says Pottery but as for the first. At a guess:-
***xion?? Possibly a 6 or 7 letter word??

Bid Ed - I said It looked "quite new" in my post, does that render it unworthy of finding out the maker? My Andrew Matheson pot was brand new last Christmas- direct from his studio.

As you say- buy what you like.

When Ed said it looked new I don't think he meant it in a disparaging way :-)

something ending in 'xion' ... hmmmm no idea but I'll have a look around.

I will be checking and re-checking this next lot before I post for ID, my pride can't take another dent!

(Amerton Pottery was established in 1994), think i'll pay them a visit
