This evening's mystery...

Purchased this bowl today for my sister for Christmas. Going to stuff it with nuts and bolts, but in the meantime.

Labled BMP (Blue Mountain Pottery), but I'm not sure. No marks on the bottom at all.

It's probably ok Carolyn , sometimes only a label was used , other marks were "made in canada", "bmp canada","bmp" a three trees mark in 1967 -76 and various labels ,so if it's red clay and has label I would guess it's what it says on the label .

Just the antique store's lable Big Ed. But I won't give up the hope then that it is BMP as I am sure it is red clay (been painted, so it's hard to tell) and will assume the label has come up. I'll keep looking at the BMP potter boards. Unfortunately BMP has closed so I can't ask them.
