Miniature 'dented' vases, based on Roman designs, produced by Salviati c.1880-1920. Decoration ranges from crackled gold leaf (an effect attained by rolling the molten glass in the gold leaf before blowing it into shape and allowing the expansion to cause the rifts), to coloured chips melted in the gather to plain slef-coloured.

Sizes of these illustrated range between 45mm (the green vase) and 65mm (the red vase):
