restoration project

Post by dantheman on Thu Oct 15, 2009 2:13 pm

I bought this lovely bit of 70's art from a fair recently,it consists of veneer pieces mounted on
hardboard,I just love the retro look that it will add to my staircase.

Nice! I'm always on the lookout for original wall-art & hangingy type things - string pictures are my current fave (I know they're tacky but I love 'em anyway).

What restoration does your wooden piccy need Dan?

You do know it's a landscape Dan, I mean I suppose it could be used as a portrait , what's your plan ?

yes I know it is thanks Ed, my plan is to repaint the frame and backing and to use woodstain to bring out the grain of the wood
