I bought this lovely bit of 70's art from a fair recently,it consists of veneer pieces mounted on
hardboard,I just love the retro look that it will add to my staircase.

Nice! I'm always on the lookout for original wall-art & hangingy type things - string pictures are my current fave (I know they're tacky but I love 'em anyway).

You do know it's a landscape Dan, I mean I suppose it could be used as a portrait , what's your plan ?

yes I know it is thanks Ed, my plan is to repaint the frame and backing and to use woodstain to bring out the grain of the wood

It looked better that way and the signature , not to mention the wire that i saw reflected on the metal pelican thingy , elimentary DTM
