More fantastic designs from Inger Waage. These are from the Flamingo oven to tableware range and the pattern is called 'Bambus'.

That's a nice little pot Maarten - can you tell us anything about it? What's on the base?
Re: Stavangerflint (Norway)
Sure: It's a dish with a cover, I guess around 12-9 cm, ~4 cm high (I do not have it in front of me now). I think it might be a butter dish?

Hi, designer Kari Nyqvist born 1918 in Oslo. Worked for Stavangerflint from 1950 to 1960. She is represented at the Victoria and Albert museum in London.

Indeed - I've got a few dishes and plates with the same 'Kari' mark to the back and I'd only been able to narrow it down to half a dozen possible designers (Kari Nyqvist was one) - so it's good to know for sure.

Lynne - Inger Waage designs fetch really decent money, that's a nice little dish - not sure about the design name though I know a man who might know (he's writing a book about the life and work of Inger Waage) - I'll ask him to join here.
