Lost-Wax Brass Plaques - Mid Century? Empty Lost-Wax Brass Plaques - Mid Century?

Another online friend just picked up these two brass/bronze plaques.  He says Ì think they were formed in wax, then cast in the lost wax process, which is fairly detailed. They are unsigned, and unmarked, and I have no idea of their age.``

Has anybody here got any clues about these... Oh, the rectangular one is about 5 x 7 inches and the square one is about 6 x 6.

They look Mediterranean - Greek, or one of the smaller islands.

Interesting thought, Naomi. I was thinking maybe Italian so we're roughly in the same neighbourhood.
