A Studio piece that I've had a long time, bought in Hambleden,  Buckinghamshire. No marks.   13" Across x 8" High.

An ikebana vase? Looks like a '70s piece. May be a one off. Base photos are always useful, even if there isn't a mark.

Your dating could be right though, bought it off New Age Travellers in 1980 at a table top sale in the village of Hambleden.

Trying not to say hobby potter because I really like it, but if they are the original felt pads then I have to admit that's what I'm thinking. But there might be a mark underneath one of them.
