Working sketch with colour anotations for a painting. Set in Bath, outside the Royal Mineral Water Hospital
Signed P. LeBas. 60s style frame. Tried googling it but just getting JP Lebas the 18th century engraver.

This is a sketch for a later painting. Most of what is posted here is low quality but is a pro work a preparatory sketch, speedy and with confident lines, someone who make this his living. Look for a painting of the same scene?

If you want to date it you could call Mallory's (jewellery + luxury goods shop) for and asked them when they were based there. They moved a long time ago down to the corner of the road that leads to Pulteney bridge and now they have a much bigger shop, so the one in your pic would presumably been their previous home.
