Salt glazed, WJ mark - Elizabeth / Liz Gale

Hi everyone, I have just obtained this beautiful dish but I cannot identify the mark.
Can some one please help?
It stands 2.1/2" high.
6.1/4" dia.
It has a raised button inside the base with a letter W. I have done my utmost to make a clear picture.

It looks like porcelain, and the mark is similar to Mary Rich.

Ok, think I v'e found it Dianna Barraclough used this mark from 1971-77 at Wawcott House, Bath Road, nr. Newbury, Ed

No idea, but I agree the dish is probably an early piece, assuming it is by her.

Liz is a relatively unknown potter but her skills stack up well when compared with the bigger names

a nice little salt glazed milk jug with decoration you might expect from a Wally Keeler pot or even one altered after throwing by Ruthanne Tudball but Liz sells these jugs for £18.00 so you can enjoy using stylish pots without worrying about chipping them.

Hi Naomi - for what it's worth!
I'm clutching at straws a little but I'm sure in the dim & distant past I've seen similar - my guess and it's only a guess which may help others guide you in the right direction. If your bowl is porcelain? it looks to have a deep thrown foot and is not dissimilar to those of Aldermaston - stay with me! Geoffrey Eastop was a founder member of Aldermaston with ACS. He later worked with/for John Piper (Artist) and your little bowl could be from his period of work after Piper. He did use some porcelain, bold glazes splattered with resist markings & quite abstract. The mark is not a million miles away from those shown for Eastop but does differ from the books, could be a later mark or his stamp had twisted or was dirty!! I'm not sticking my neck out enough to confirm it would be him but I'm sure this may allow others more expert than me with his work to confirm - many museums hold his work (usually much larger chargers) I did once see the charger held by Bucks CC museum depicting a nuclear explosion/mushroom FAB & huge in red/orange black from memory.

Looks like stoneware to me anyway.

Four matching pots all dark blue glaze with light blue dots and a shimmer of gold effect in places mark unusual base mark I think is WJ can anyone ID this please?

Here's one of the others, stamped side ways....it's so small, hard to get a good close up. Seems like a slightly different stamp was used.
