Looks like a crab, dated 2007, with a Continental style 7. One of the Vallauris potters, maybe?

it's the wrong clay for Vallauris I think but I agree it is a crab

The Crab of course is the astrological sign of Cancer. June 22- July 22. The base has also got 07 stamped on it. July being the 7th month. A bowl with astrology connections perhaps?
