miniature vase - any ideas please?
Not sure why I picked this up because I don't like the shape at all, but the glaze colours are lovely (really they are ).
Any ideas where it may have come from or who? many thanks

Re: miniature vase - any ideas please?
looks very much like Vallauris pottery to me,the clay is right, the base glaze is bang on and I have seen those decorative glazes and the frothy effect on many Vallauris pots

No dan , to many attributions are given willy nilly , without any providence , best to say don't know, rather than wild guess , that's what's wrong with the ceramics department at the moment , if you know what this vase is for deffo fair enough , but saying looks like could be anything ( my bug bear)
