Wiinblad-esque Ceramic Figure Empty Wiinblad-esque Ceramic Figure

Post by jesgord January 19th 2011, 10:10 pm

I've had this lovely lady for several years. She is about 20" tall and weighs around 10-12lbs. I purchased her here is the United States. She strikes me as perhaps, Scandinavian (she bears a resemblance to some of Bjorn Wiinblads lovely ladies). She is signed on the rear with the letters ML which is also incised in the ceramic (vaguely visible is the last poor iPhone pic Embarrassed ). Anybody happen to know who the mystery "ML" might be? Shrugs Thanks in advance for any input

No thoughts on this one, huh? Would better pics help......or is she simply an enigma? Scandinavian? American? European?

it looks very different to the European and Scandinavian pottery seen so far on the forum I think it likely to have been made elsewhere

Been about a year....and I still have no answers. Figured I'd give this a bump and see if anyone can drop some knowledge.
