Tall Orange retro vase - Maker? Empty Tall Orange retro vase - Maker?

I purchased this superb 12" tall sculptural vase at a Flea market at Shepton Mallett last week. The vase is of course orange in colour but has a whitish interior and clear glass base. I have had a similar style vase that was made by Aseda Glasbruk. However my thought is that this was made somewhere in Italy but if anyone otherwise or knows where exactly I would appreciated their assistance. Thanks in advance Clap Tall Orange retro vase - Maker? I have continued searching on the net and in glass related publications and have found a very similar shaped vase in Italian Glass century 20 by Leslie Pina page number 50. The vase pattern is almost identical but the illustrated vase is shorter and has a larger bowl. The vase in the book is discribed as being designed by Carlo Moretti at Murano in the 1960's. There is also a patterned vase in the same shape on that page. If anyone else has a copy of this book perhaps they could give their observations. Thanks

very nicely done but unpolished?
I was just wondering whether it might be Polish? I have a vase that I think was labelled Poland and it has an unpolished but very nicely ground rim.
- I could be totally wrong of course

It is unpolished true, i have never thought of it being Polish probably because of the colour, rightly or wrongly I have always associated orange with being either Murano or at least Italy and Scandinavia. I have a couple of Krosno vases and both have polished rims. The plot thickens.

Having a cut and ground rim like that, that is not further polished suggests to me, newer rather than older. Older furnaces typically would not have let a piece out without polished all surfaces. Polish would be a good guess in my mind.

Yes, Polish seems to be the general consensus. I have scoured Polish glass websites without seeing anything similar but it could well be out there.
I also have an orange glass mushroom shaped lamp that I will be adding shortly which is a more substantial piece that I hope will be Murano in origin. Thanks
