Afraid not and I don't know who it's by. Mick Casson's early work from the 1950s was in red earthenware.

The mark that "jughandles" says is Mick Casson's mark is the same as that on Potty's pot down to the square with the diagonal line.
When describing it he states, "Now for the potential mistakes. The following mark is an early Mick Casson mark on a stoneware vessel. He didn't use this for very long, but it does turn up - and he made a wide range of items in different styles so its harder to spot that way. Note that there is no pottery mark, and the shape is much more rounded. Still a decently valuable pot!"
This "Ebay expert" clearly isn't an expert and that is being polite. If a pot with this mark was ever likely to be by Mick Casson it would be in tin glazed earthenware and not have the square with diagonal mark as well.

An example of Mick Casson's work from the 1950s
Re: Not Mick Casson or Michael Cardew porcelain vase?
Thanks SP, the link Ed added is the reason for my question, but the fact it's porcelain and the other mark did make me wonder, but I'm quite sure mine is the same as on the ebay link anyway
I bought it because I was sure I had seen the mark before (ebay link) and that it was 99p, so nothing lost.
I did notice a piece of porcelain (quite boring and small) with the same mark went for just under £20 on ebay, I guess due to that ebay guide.

I have checked out "jughandles" other guides on ebay and now that I have read them my comment about him above was a little unfair. He does appear to be trying to stop fake and mis-attributed items from being sold on that site and giving helpful information. He is wrong about it being a Mick Casson mark though.
