Surprised there's no thread about this wonderful stuff. I'll start with this vase, made between 1972-78

And here's a wall plaque, probably made by Elizabeth Vandeweghe.

Do you have any photos of the marks (if there are any)?

Here's the mark on the vase. Typical for the period.

The wall plaque is not marked, but some pieces were labelled so I'm guessing that's the case here.

It's a fairly recent collecting habit but I'm hoping to buy more soon. Can't get it in the UK it seems! If you want a damn good drool and find out why it gets me so excited, have a look at this guy's blog, which covers a lot of Perignem and the other pottery I'm interested in, Amphora. http://hrviandwoutr.blogspot.co.uk

Is this signed Perignem? Because as far as the glaze and decoration techniques are concerned, this looks like a c. 1960 Elie van Damme piece, executed at the Rogier Vandeweghe workshop in Bruges, as of 1960 renamed Amphora. See Heiremans 2006, p. 107 for similar animals. Elisabeth did make animals, but in a different style.

It is a very nice and rare piece by the way, by far the nicest in this topic :)

I think you might be right - it isn't signed either way, but Amphora did use paper labels of course. I also have this plaque, again unsigned, which I'm more confident is by Elisabeth V. because the orange glaze is the same as that used on my lion.
