Agostini Dessi

   

"Professore Agostini Dessi" mask, handmade by a florence based mask maker, who worked in his own "Alice’s Masks Studio“ which is named after his daughter.
He worked there from 1973 to 2002. This mask is is signed and titeled on the inside.
They have been custom hand made by Agostino for the Carnival of Venice Masquerade ball, for Theatre Groups and Films.

it shows a handpainted scene of three fighting florentine aristocrates or soldiers on horses, suited in circa 14th century flowing robes?
the material is paper mache, made in a unique way developed by Dessi himself.
