argghh, I KNOW I have seen this mark somewhere before but I cannot find it now - so annoying.
Both pots from the same maker.  Anyone recognise it please?
many thanks

I'd have thought Hastings Pottery.

The body is right as is the decor, tho it does not look as well finished as some of their items I have seen to be honest.

Less defined than others I have seen, but yeah the mark would be correct.

Sorry if I've posted in the wrong place.

Is this little bowl a tea bowl? (5.5cm H x 11.5cm W) with a 3.5cm diameter pedestal.

It is the kind of thing that you seeing being sold as a teabowl, in an attempt to get a higher price.

However, the Hastings Pottery that was run by Dennis Lucas from 1956 until 1995 was more into making decorative, inexpensive things for people on holiday at the seaside to take home with them.

So really a small pretty bowl.

Little slip trailed dish with inscised (not impressed) mark; I assume this is quite early Hastings from the (what I think of as)  1950s colours.
