I found this sculptural vase in a charity shop I quite like it and it sits on a table in my living room. It's in the style of Doug Ayres but has no mark of his. It does however have intact stickers, one on the base which says it was made at 'The Turning Point' St Mary's - Isles of Scilly, I'm not sure if this is still up and running. It's Iroko wood and numbered 213. The sticker on the back says it was made from wood recovered from the 'Fantee' which wrecked just off the coast in 1949.
Does anyone have any information on who might have worked at 'The Turning Point' I can't find much info at all?
