Selkirk Glass (Scotland)

A heavy 5 1/2in vase with black and white swirls.
Inscribed "Selkirk Glass Scotland 1989".

Hi All

I have here a bulbous white and red glass vase.

Signed with 3 words and I think a date ( maybe 1980 something )

I just can't make it out.

Anyone happen to know?

Would be so grateful for any info.

I may be incorrect and my eyes are playing tricks on me, but the second part of the signature looks like Scotland, and the date maybe 1989. I am not sure about the first part, sorry.

Yes I thought that as well. Its a similar pattern to some Caithness vases I have seen but normally on clear glass in pink and greens. I will explore that line. Thanks for your post.

Would Selkirk Glass Scotland somehow fit? or is that pushing it a bit!

Denbydump does it again its a Selkirk Posy Vase - quite a rare piece by all accounts. Ran from 1977 to 2006.
