Maltby at Lockdales Empty Maltby at Lockdales

There is a private collection of Maltby 'sculptural' items coming up for sale at Lockdales  auctions in Suffolk on the 9th June including Christmas cards and ephemera etc from the potter, i believe there are no reserves.

If you take Mallams, Cheffins and Lockdales sales together then that is 30 Maltby lots coming up in short order. Just viewing them all together one gets a sorta samey overload feeling.
It should be an an interesting test of the market tho. Maltby has always been a very populist potter whose varied work appeals across a lot of tastes,
