Interesting small article Philpot, i think the use of the word crazed is very apt for these donor collectors .I am just about to unwrap and read 'the Yorkshire tea ceremony' in the garden over the weekend, i will post on your other thread to give my opinion (for what it's worth).

It is good to have such an article in a newspaper but I do wish they would get someone with some knowledge of the subject to write such things.

However, I suppose that has never been the way.

I met a studio potter that had visited the exhibition at York recently and was less positive about the way that it was displayed but that really was to do with the quantity of work and the space available. I haven't visited the current show but was there a few years ago for the grand opening and understood what it was getting at.
