Do you actually know how many pots you have got?

I find this amount of pots staggering and would be curious to know why each of you have so many. Do you class this amount as a collection?, if so, what themes do you try to illustrate with so many pots.

I collect a few different potters, a few potteries, different glazes, forms, potting methods, sculpture, slab building, wall-mounted stuff, useful stuff. garden pots and investment pieces

I would "class" it as a recognised mental health condition

I've always found it really strange that people only collect one thing hen it comes to ceramics, Poole for example. Nothing wrong with Poole, but it you only collect it, it means that you go to fairs and don't even consider 95% of what's there, go to auctions go on the internet and all you are interested in is say Tony Morris. There is so much to learn, to understand. Ceramics are fantastic, all of it!

Nope, I'm only collect Poole. Tony Morris between June 1987 and September 2001 - That was his best Period. So at Fairs you might be standing next to the bargain of the century but refuse to even look at it.

So overall I'm not shocked that people have large collections, I'm shocked at the people who don't have large collections.

I have some nice things, much I have not put on here, I've had some medical issues which has delayed my website just when I was getting going. 500+ for me.

I don't think i will ever hit more than 50 in my lifetime
