spade vase
I was just swamped by last-second ebay bids on a spade vase, I thought it might be an unsigned Maltby?

Re: spade vase
I wouldn't be surprised if it turns up on FB asking for an ID. There are some collectors on there with more money than sense, buying loads of student pieces

Re: spade vase
£129.86. I remember seeing that one soon after it was listed. Had a good laugh to think that Anyone might buy such a thing that did not even much resemble Hans Coper's work! It was crap! Someone paying that for it means that there is definitely a Fool Born every minute. Given the odd bid price I wonder if the Buyer is American?
