Nice looking piece. Is it a lamp base or a vase? ie does it have a hole for the cable to go into? The markets for vases and table lamps are rather different, and it a table lamp it is probably more likely to be a factory made piece than a studio one. Nice piece.

Thank You Philpot! That is good to know. It is definitely a lamp base, have just added additional pic of base which was covered in felt.
