Agreed. She had some similar plates at Hatfield, based on the Japanese form. She said she hasn’t been doing them for long. Here’s one I regret not buying at the show.

Hi all.
Can anyone please help me identify the maker of this mug.
I have looked in Fournier but failed to spot this mark. My photograph is less that perfect, but hopeful;y its clear enough to identify.

Does anyone know when Tudball started using soda glaze? I heard she developed it before Lisa Hammond. Would that have been in College?

'In 1989 I graduated with a Commendation and two years’ worth of research into soda glazing from Goldsmith’s. This led to writing a book “Soda Glazing” published by A&C Black in 1995.'

This handled dish was out in the garden because it was cracked and when I turned it over it looked like a tribal mask and so I hug it on the garden fence.
