I have spend an hour trying to pick up the letters with Photoshop, without the camera they are totally illegible. This is a very small set and only the open salt is marked and even with a loop I can't make it out. Any help is appreciated.  Inez

Hi,
Think the mark is for James McIntyre, Burslem, founded in 1860. The metal mounts are typical of the last quarter 19th century.
Hope this helps.

Thank you! Where does one find out more about the metal mounts?
