Hello any ideas on this piece marked BP?

Actually, scrub that suggestion, I don't think they ever marked their pieces like that - certainly the few I've got anyway and it's not really representative of their style anyway. Stylistically it looks Cornish - very similar to the output of Tremaen.

The only BP in the British Studio Potters Marks book is that of Brenda Piper but her work is described in the book as being 'mostly coiled or pinched individual pieces in stoneware'. Her mark is shown in the book enclosed in a rectangle which yours isn't so I dunno.

I have spotted and had some of this before , always looking brand new , so maybe not a very recognisable potter /pottery , As pip says it's not broadstairs or tremaen ,
