Nice glazes to this 6.5 in 170 mm diameter bowl - came with the batch of Scandi Studio pots.

Incised initial D to underside. Any ideas anyone?

Don't mean to hog this forum but I am becoming obsessed with pottery, this is another item I picked up today, I know I've seen this symbol/monogram before but can't find where, any information please.

I've no idea of its value Dan, but I bought it for 99p from a charity shop toaday. I'm slowly learning with the help of the people on this forum, how to be a little more selective about what I pick up, and how to recognise quality pieces.

quality pieces are not that hard to spot but if you do it for profit then it's best to pick pieces that are also in fashion

23cm egg.

I've been meaning to put this on for a while, I've had it for at least 10 years. I'm surprised not to have seen more of them. I emailed David Worthty about it back in 2011 and got this reply:

"Yes I can confirm that the piece you have does indeed come from the  Crich Pottery studio, we called them  variously Pebbles/Eggs and where part of a range that Diana created around 1997 with a totally new colourway/ decorative style  named Lifeforce. She signed them all with her initials DW. We had been approached by John Lewis to come up with something exclusive and so  Lifeforce was born and went on to become a bestseller!"

The decoration is typical of her work. Thankfully she's starting to move away from just browns. I have one of her mugs and love it.

Has she? It's very odd because for ages there were just the 'shades of brown and grey' pieces for sale (ebay, mostly), and then suddenly, in the past year or so, there's been a flood of more colourful stuff - hues of blues and reds and yellows. Maybe someone's been stockpiling them?

I've been twisting these pots round and round and still can't decide which way up this should read. Wondering if anyone here can enlighten me. Thanks.
