Thank you both very much - I had thought Wenford Bridge when I first picked it up but had completely forgotten this when it finally emerged from a crate months later! I’ll go and do some reading up on Ara Cardew.

This was an interesting one. Described by the auctioneers as Wenford Bridge Michael Cardew. But it only had the Wenford Bridge mark on it. The hammer price was £180. It reminds me more of Svend Bayer than Michael Cardew. Any thoughts?

Looks like CA rather than CM or CS. So probably Ara.

Thank you, I’ve not had many Wenford Bridge pieces and didn't want to make a mistake and sell a Michael Cardew piece for pennies!

Here is the bowl with CS/SC mark and the design and glazes look similar to the Abuja jug. Might need moving to ID my pottery section. Update: This I do believe this is by Seth Cardew Wendford Bridge Pottery and not Abuja.
