As it happens I also have a bowl like the one you've posted !
It is different to the one in question. I assume there were several designs in the 'Flair' range .
So that's solved - unless of course it turns out to be Lasisepat !!!
I agree with NaomiM I'll need to see one complete with its box ( with an illustration so that it's beyond doubt  )

Mystery maybe partially solved. I found this bowl today:



Same 'cactus' shape as the first image in this thread but it has a sticker ... hard to see and hard to read without a magnifying glass but you should be able to see a clear triangular sticker in this pic. It reads "Handmade in Canada Lyric" and there is a logo but my camera isn't good enough to pick up the details. The logo sort of looks like a wide c or backwards j with a circle inside the hooked part. I tried googling but couldn't find it.

I can see where not too many examples with labels might exist since the label is actually on the inside of the bowl and, at first, I thought it was a bit of sticky tape. I had to put on my reading glasses and use a magnifying glass to read it.

I do see that the points on the 'petals' in the first bowl seem to be quite a bit longer than the points on my bowl.

I emailed Rayware who took over Ravenhead in 2000 to see if they could help. Apparently they have no references to discontinued patterns.

I like this bowl. the irregular but evenly so rim, sculptured ice effect and opaque out finish would one would have thought very Scandinavian. Approx 10 inches across and 4 inches high and rather akin to the Humppila bowls though with less variance in height. Any ideas??

See page 222, 20th Century British Glass by Charles Hajdamach. The internet is still young not all knowledge can be found through it.

These bowls were obviously inspired by those that came before (like the one from Humppila), they were made using the same production method as Dartington's Dasiy and Hollywood bowls and so share similarities.

Here is the answer to your questions:
The one with the sticker is Ravenhead.... remember, stickers can be transplanted, accidentally or intentionally. :) I have both the small and the large 'cactus' style vases in their boxes. They are the Ravenhead Flair range and the large one is called a Table Vase, the smaller one a Lotus vase. I have tried to upload pictures of my collection,  including those in their boxes,  but all to no avail.  Can anyone help me how to do this please? :)

Keep tripping over this on the floor. I was thinking Humppila when I got it but now I seem to remember it's a Ravenhead and I have fell for buying it in the past also?

Yep it's Ravenhead from the Flair range. It's a shame that because these pieces are British and not Scandi they are considered inferior.
