That first Annette Walters provided by OP, put me in mind of my mass-produced, much-loved Dr Who teapot and the Tardis in general, but especially my teapot. (If I could find the icon I might have posted it here, or might not since it's mass-prod.)
I wonder if the designer of the official Dr Who ceramics was a Troika potter? Or, maybe just a fan.
